The course, Safo 2207 Silviculture of Indian Trees ( 2+1) is the course offered during the fourth semester of B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry students. The course is meant to study the origin, distribution, general description, phenology, silvicultural characters, regeneration
methods, silvicultural systems, stand management practices pest and diseases and economic
importance of the trees species like broad leaved species, confers, fast growing multipurpose tree species, tropical pines etc.
