MBB 515 Introduction to Bioinformatics
A combination of biology and information technology is called
Bioinformatics. Computers are used for the analysis of large
biological datasets because many of the problems require millions of
repetitions of the same steps before they are solved. Computers are
also used due to their processing speed and capacity. This is an
online view of the Bioinformatics course specifically designed for
the regular registered students of M.Sc. Biotechnology. It is designed with an objective to impart an introductory knowledge about the principles of bioinformatics applications to newcomer students
studying any discipline of science.
