Suce-5002- Water Quality and Pollution Control- (3+1)
Objective
This course is designed as a supportive course for the PG programme in Agricultural Engineering. The course content is designed to deal with one of the most important aspects of environmental engineering ie 'Water'. In the present day world, one of the most discussed and debated topics is environmental pollution and quality deterioration of the worthy and valuable natural resources. In this context, this course on water quality and pollution intends to impart knowledge to the emerging engineers on various aspects like water demand assessment, quality monitoring, measurements, purification, water quality standards, and pollution control. Awareness is also created on the quality aspects and treatment processes for wastewater from domestic and industrial sources and pollution modelling.

SWCE 501ADVANCED SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION ENGINEERING (2+1)
To acquaint and equip students with the advances in soil and water conservation measures, use of RS and GIS and Software’s for design of soil and water conservation structures.
